The gap widens, or, why there is no election today


This graph shows change in national voter intention since the 2006 federal election. The data is based on the polling data that I have accumulated that has been reported in the public, and is summarized by quarter. The colours of the lines are those normally associated with the parties.

As you can see, the Green Party is the only party that is polling above 2006 levels, and has demonstrated consistent growth over that time.

It makes one wonder if the real reason that there is no election at this time is that all of the people who make the decision have nothing to gain, and everything to lose.
